Barb Francis is an experienced business leader, coach, and organizational consultant. She is a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) through the Royal Roads University Executive Coaching Graduate Certificate Program, an Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and a credentialed member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Barb is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in the Social Sciences Program and holds a Management Certificate in Human Resources from the University of Toronto. Barb Is also qualified in a variety of assessment tools which includes the DISC and Birkman Behavioural Style Assessments, EQ-i Inventory and the 360 Feedback Process.
Barb brings more than 25 years of rich and diverse leadership experience in the corporate, entrepreneurial and not-for-profit sectors to her clients. She has served as a Divisional Human Resources Director for an international paint company, and is currently serving a 2-year term as the President of the Business & Professional Women’s Club of Calgary.
With many professionals serving multi-faceted roles amidst constantly changing environments, they often have little time and energy to pause and reflect upon their professional and personal goals. In the role of coach, Barb supports her clients to reach a pool of reflective still water, and then helps them to create crystal clear goals and action steps. Barb and her clients continue to partner throughout the coaching process, ensuring that clients are successful in achieving their goals.
Barb’s coaching style is often why clients choose to work together with her, and is represented by a unique blend of key attributes—including a genuine interest in her clients, a caring and compassionate manner, and a razor-sharp focus on goal setting, action planning, and execution.
